दरवाजे पर निम्बू मिर्चे लटकाने का वैज्ञानिक कारण

अगर आप भारत में दुकानों पर देखेंगे तो लगभग हर दूकान पर आप को निम्बू और मिर्चे  की लड़ लटकी हुई दिखेगी | यहाँ तक की कई बड़े व्यवसाय भी अपने बिजनेस के दरवाजो पर मिर्च और निम्बू लटकाते हैं |  इसके साथ ही आप को हर दो या तीन दिनो में नए और ताजा निम्बू मिर्च की लड़ लटकाई जाती है | आप में से कई लोग ये भी सोच सकते हैं की क्यों निम्बू मिर्च को हर दो या तीन दिनों में बदला जाना चाहिए और क्यों उन्हें कुछ ख़ास दिनों में ही बदला जाना चाहिए ?

जो लोग भ्रमो पर यकीन करते हैं वो लोग यही कहेंगे की इस तरह से निम्बू मिर्ची दरवाजे पर लटकाने से उनको बुरी नजर से बचाएगा, और उनके बिजनेस को भी बढाने में मदद कर सकता है | ये उन चंद सोचो में से है जो की भारत में बहुत ही लम्बे समय से है और हम ये नहीं कह सकते हैं की भारत में निम्बू मिर्च लटकाने की प्रथा कब से है | पर अगर आप को ये लगता है ये सोच सिर्फ भ्रम के उपर बनी है, तो आप पूरी तरह से गलत है |

असल में सच तो ये है की निम्बू और मिर्च को दरवाजे पर लटकाने का पीछे बहुत ही सीधा सा वैज्ञानिक कारण है, और लोगो ने इसे बुरी नजर और भगवान से जोड़ दिया ताकि लोग इस बात को नियम से माने | अब हम बात करे उस वैज्ञानिक कारण की जिसके कारण आप को अपने बिजनेस के दरवाजे पर निम्बू मिर्ची लटकाना चाहिए, तो उसका कारण ये है की निम्बू और मिर्ची का रस बहुत ही तेजी से छोटे छोटे कीटाणुओं को मार देता है वो भी बिना कोई नुक्सान फैलाए | याने की अगर आप की दूकान या बिजनेस की जगह पर छोटे छोटे बैक्टीरिया या फिर ऐसे ही दुसरे जीवाणु होंगे, तो वो प्राक्रतिक रूप से ही मर जायेंगे| इसका ये भी मतलब है की आप अपने काम करने की जगह को सिर्फ निम्बू मिर्चे लटका कर स्वस्थ बना सकते हैं |

अब हम बात करे उस सवाल की,  निम्बू मिर्च की लड़ को कुछ खास दिनों में ही क्यों लटकाया जाना चाहिए तो उसका भी जवाब है | होता ये है की दो या तीन दिनों के बाद मिर्च और निम्बू का रस पूरी तरह से सूख जाता है और सूखे हुए फलो को लटकाए रहने का कोई फायदा नहीं होता है, इसी लिए इन्हें हर दो या तीन दिन में बदल दिया जाना चाहिए | पहले के ज्ञानी लोगो ने इसके लिए दिन तय कर दिए की आप को इन तय दिनों को इसे बदलना है | अब इन तय दिनों पर बदलने से होता ये है की आप कभी गलती नहीं करते और इसे हर बार वक्त पर बदल देते हैं |

यहाँ ये कहना भी जरूरी है की आज कल कई लोग असली निम्बू मिर्च की जगह प्लास्टिक के सजावटी साधनों का इस्तेमाल करने लगे हैं, जो की निहायत ही बेवकूफी से भरी हुई हरकत है | अगर आप ऐसा करते हैं तो सिर्फ एक सजावटी सामान को अपने दरवाजे पर लटका लेंगे और उसका कोई फायदा नहीं मिलने वाला है | तो अगर आप ने ऐसा करा है तो मेरी सलाह यही होगी की आप सिर्फ और सिर्फ ताजे निम्बू मिर्च ही अपने बिजनेस के दरवाजे पर लगाए और उसे हर दो तीन में बदलते रहे |

रात को नाख़ून काटना अशुभ क्यों होता है

कई बार बड़े लोग हम से कहते हैं की रात को नाखून नहीं काटना चाहिए नहीं तो अशुभ होता है | कई लोग ये भी कहते हैं की नाख़ून को सिर्फ नाइ के द्वारा ही कटवाया जाना चाहिए नहीं तो अशुभ होता है| और इसके साथ ही कुछ जगहों पर ये भी मान्यता है की घर के अन्दर नाख़ून काटने से लक्ष्मी दूर होती है| आज के समय में कई लोग इस बात को हवा में उडा देते हैं जबकि उनके इस शुभ और अशुभ के पीछे बहुत ही सीधा सा वैज्ञानिक और तार्किक कारण जुडा होता है |

पहले हम बात करे की रात के समय नाख़ून ना काटने की तो उसका सीधा कारन ये होता है, की पहले के समय में बिजली नहीं हुआ करती थी और तब नेल कटर भी इतने अच्छे नहीं हुआ करते थे | तब लोग चाकू या ऐसे ही किसी धारदार वस्तू से अपने नाखून काटा करते थे | अब मुझे ये बताने की जरा भी जरूरत नहीं है की रात के समय अँधेरे में ऐसे किसी भी हथियार से अपने नाखून काटना समझदारी तो नहीं हो सकती | ऐसे में आप को चोट लग सकती है और वो अपने आप में ही अशुभ हो जायेगा |

दूसरी बात करे की नाइ से ही नाखून कटवाने चाहिए, तो उसके पीछे भी वही कारण है मैंने उपर बताया| जैसे की मैंने कहा पहले के वक्त में नाख़ून काटने के लिए चाकू जैसे किसी धारदार चीज का इस्तेमाल होता था | अब अगर आप खुद ऐसे धारदार सामान से अपने नाखून काटेंगे तो तो आपके हाथ कटने का डर होगा, लेकिन नाइ अगर यही काम आप के लिए करेंगे तो आप के हाथ काटने के चांसेज बहुत ही कम हो जायेंगे | साथ ही नाइयों को इस काम का तजुर्बा होता था, और वो इस काम में पूरी सावधानी बरत कर ही नाखून काटा करते थे | तो आप को चोट लगने की उम्मीद लगभग ना के बराबर हो जाती थी |

अब अगली बात करते हैं घर के बाहर ही नाखून काटने की, तो उसका कारण भी सीधा सा लॉजिक है | आज के वक्त भी अगर आप नाखून काटेंगे तो कोशिश यही करेंगे की घर के बाहर बैठे या फिर बाथरूम में रहे ताकि नाखून घर में इधर उधर न फैले| उस वक्त जब इसे भगवान् या बुरे समय के साथ जोड़ा गया था, तब भी कारण यही था | बस तब हम लोगो इसे अपने अच्छे और बुरे समय से जोड़ लिया करते थे |

तो आगे से से जब भी आप अपने नाखून काटे और बड़े लोग आप को टोंके, तो ये ध्यान रखियेगा की उनकी कही बाते पूरी तरह से ना सही थोड़ी सही हो सकती हैं | साथ ही आप ये भी ध्यान रखियेगा की अपने नाखूनों को बाथरूम में ही कांटे और वो भी तब जब वहा पूरा उजाला हो |

Is it a bad luck when a black cat cross your path ?

There are so many superstitions about black cats in the entire world and crossing of the path is one of the biggest ones. People say if a black cat crosses your path then it is a bad luck and you should not cross the road at that time. If you seriously want to do, then you should wait for others to cross the road or you should throw some bricks, wood or stones on the path to break the bad omen, you should wait for few minutes and then you should cross the road.

Many of you may be wondering if it is really a bad luck if a black cat walks in front of you. If you take my opinion, it was a superstition that is completely based on logic.  In ancient time, people used to walk on the road in basic shoes. Also, roads used to be a trail between bushes and many wild animals used to live in the towns or villages as well because of greenery around the human habited areas.

A cat may have so many natural enemies and snakes were top on this list. This may surprise you, but snakes are the oldest natural animal of cats. Many time cats fight with the snake and if cats are not winning, then they start running. Snakes run after the cats and that is how this myth came into existence. In ancient time, if a cat is running in a city, then chances were high that a snake is coming after it. Now if you will walk on the same path and snake crosses the path at the same time, then you may accidently put your foot on the snake.

I don’t have to explain this simple fact to you, that putting your foot on an angry snake will give you nothing but a venomous bite.  Needless to say, that will be a bad luck for you or for the person that will cross the path. Wise people in ancient time knew that people won’t understand the logic, so they attached it with bad luck. They said it will be a bad luck if a black cat runs in front of you and should change your path or you should try the other alternatives.

When you change your path then you automatically stay away from the snake or other enemies of the cat. And if you throw stones, you pray and then you cross the path, then you give time to yourself. In this duration, if a snake or other animal does not cross the path, then that would be safe for you. So, now if someone say is it a bad luck if a black cat crosses the road in front of you, then you know the answer.

And if you are driving a car and you see a black cat crossed your path, then you should not worry about it much. You should simply drive your car without having any kind of bad feelings in your mind and you will safely reach your destination.

Scientific reason of hanging chili and lemon outside your door

In India, almost every shop or even in many bigger businesses, you may see people tie some green chilies and lemon and they hang that in front of the main entrance. Also, they change it on certain days and then they hang fresh once instead of old one. Many of you may wonder why to hang fresh chilies and lemon on certain days. 

Superstitious people can claim it save them from the bad omens and it helps them grow their business as well. This is a ritual that has been there in Indian culture since ages and we cannot pin point the exact time for same. But if you think this is ritual is completely based on superstitions, then you are very much wrong about it.

As a matter of fact, this ritual was based on the science and after few centuries, people connected it with god and other superstitious things.  The combination of lemon juice and green chili work as a great disinfectant and it can terminate so many small microbes and bacteria’s that are not good for your health.  That means you will have a healthy environment just by hanging Green chilies and lemon on your door.

Talking about the question, why you need to hang only fresh lemon and chilies and why on certain days, its answer is very simple. In two or three days, the juice of lemon and chili get vaporized and hanging the empty shell of these two things will not do anything good for you. That is why you need to change it regularly.  They decided few days to make sure people chance it regularly without missing it.

Also, now a day, some people are using chilies and lemon hanger made of plastic. Please understand, that will be not good for your business in any ways. So, I would recommend you to use only fresh lemon and chili for this or do not use it at all.

इमली के पेड पर भूत होते हैं : इस भ्रम के पीछे बैठा वैज्ञानिक और तार्किक कारण

जहा अभी हमारा घर है वहा पास में ही ढेर सारे खेत और इमली के पेड हुआ करते थे, एक बावडी भी थी जिसके आस पास इमली के पेड़ों का एक झुण्ड भी था और उस पूरी जगह के बारे में ये मशहूर था की वहां भूत रहते हैं. 


ऐसे एक दो वाकये भी सुनने को मिले थे जब ये देखने में आया था की फलाना इंसान आज वहा बैठा था और फिर उसकी तबियत खराब हो गई,. और इस सब से लोगो की भूत होने वाली भावना को भी प्रबल बल मिलता था, 


सच्चाई ये है की इमली के पेड के नीचे की हवा में carbon die oxide की मात्रा जरूरत से ज्यादा होती है और उसके साथ ही वहाँ की हवा थोड़ी अम्लीय (acedic ) भी होती है और इसके कारण वहा आराम करने वाले व्यक्ति के शरीर में प्राण वायु Oxygen की मात्रा कम हो जाती है और अम्ल की मात्रा थोड़ी बढ़ जाती है जिसकी वजह से इंसान को चक्कर आते हैं और शरीर पूरी तरह से शिथिल हो जाता है. पुराने वैधो ने इस बात को भूत के डर से जोड़ कर लोगो को इमली के पेडो के नीचे आराम करने से रोकने की कोशिश की थी.


और जो शारीरिक शिधिलता और दूसरी ऐसी तकलीफे होती है वो थोड़े समय में ठीक हो जाती है लेकिन तब तक लोग सारा झाड फूक कर चुके होते है और थोड़े समय बाद इंसान अपने आप ठीक हो जाता है और लोग मानते हैं की प्रेत बाधा ठीक हो गई है

छिपकली के गिरने पर नहाना, पूजा करना और दान करना : तार्किक और वैज्ञानिक कारण

ये एक बहुत ही पुरानी मान्यता है की अगर आपके ऊपर घर में रहने वाली छिपकली गिर जाये तो आप के ऊपर पाप लगता है और इस पाप का निवारण करने के लिए आप को नहा कर पूजा करना चाहिये और दान करना चाहिए.

इस मान्यता को मै अंधविश्वास तो कभी नहीं समझता था क्यूंकि मेरे दादा जी मेरी मान्यता पहले ही बदल  चुके थे लेकिन इस मान्यता के पीछे मौजूद कोई भी तार्किक या वैज्ञानिक कारण मै समझ नहीं पा रहा था लेकिन मेरी ये समस्या मेरी १२वि कक्षा में दूर हो गई.

शिक्षक सभी को Phyium Chordata, Class reptilia पढ़ा रहे थे और पढाते समय उन्होंने बताया की इस वर्ग के कुछ जानवर ऐसे होते हैं जो की शरीर में बने जहर (uric acid) को उनकी चमड़ी पर जमा कर लेते हैं और यही कारण है वो सुरक्षित रहते हैं. ऐसे ही जानवरों में एक है घर में रहने वाली छिपकली

इतना सुनते ही मै लगभग उछल पड़ा और जोर से बोला इस लिए छिपकली गिरने पर नहाना पड़ता है. बाद में मैंने पूरी बात बहा बताई तो शिक्षक भी इस बात से काफी खुश हुए.

छिपकली ऐसा जानवर है जिसके शरीर में जहर तो बनता ही रहता है लेकिन वो अपने जहर को कभी भी व्यर्थ फैंकने के बजाय अपनी चमड़ी पर एकत्रित करती जाती है और जब ये छिपकली किसी और के शरीर पर गिरती है तो अपनी चमड़ी का जहर उस स्थान पर भी छोड देती है और यही जहर कई बार बाद में फ़ैल कर या रोम छिद्रों से अंदर जा कर एक बड़ा घाव बना देता है. इस जहर को साफ करने के लिए सीधा सा तरीका है उस जगह को साफ कर लेना.

इसमें एक बात ये कही जा सकती है की पानी से कोई जहर को कैसे साफ कर सकता है लेकिन बात ये है की पहले पानी में नीम की पत्तियाँ मिला करा नहाया जाता था और नीम में कई औषधीय गुण होने के साथ साथ कीटाणु नाषक का गुण भी होता है इस लिए नहाने की सलाह दी जाती थी

अगला सवाल ये हो सकता है की नहाना तो ठीक है लेकिन पूजा किसलिए तो उसका जवाब ये है की पूजा में प्रषाद और चरणाम्रत में एक मूल अव्यय होता है तुलसी की पत्तियों का जो की एक औषधीय गुणों से परिपूर्ण जड़ी बूटी भी है इस लिए पूजा पर भी जोर दिया जाता है

तीसरा सवाल दान के लिए क्यों कहा जाता है तो उसका कोई तार्किक या वैज्ञानिक कारण मै नहीं दे सकता लेकिन भारतीय संस्कृति में ये माना जाता रहा है की जब भी आपके ऊपर कोई विपत्ति आये तो दान देने से वो विप्पत्ति दूर होती है. इस बात के पीछे दो कारण काम करते हैं. पहला ये की दान उस व्यक्ति को दिया जाता है जिसे जरूरत हो ताकि एक जरूरतमंद व्यक्ति की जरूरत पूरी हो और दूसरा ये की वो जरूरत मंद व्यक्ति दान देने वाले के लिए सच्चे मन से प्रार्थना करेगा.

Do not wipe out waste material in night else Laxmi will go out.

In many of Indian families old people still say do not wipe out waste material in night else Laxmi(goddess of wealth, prosperity and money) will go out. In ancient time wise people must have created this rule/myth with a very logical reason.

I had no clue of logical reason of this for a long time but I found it when I was in 8^th.

My 8^th standard board exams were going on and I used to go to my friends place for study .

One fine day when we I woke up I heard my friend’s sister was crying because she lost her engagement ring and entire family was searching for it.

My friend and I asked her “when you saw your ring last time in your finger”.

She said “I am sure it was in my finger till yesterday nights electricity failure and I am not sure after that”.

We asked “what you did after that time?” she answered “she cooked food, cleaned home and finished her dinner”.

I heard cleaned home and said to my friend “Laxmi ji bahar gai” that means Laxmi went out. We quickly reached to the place where she collected all the waste material after wiping home as in Indian custom we don’t throw material to dustbin in night.

We searched in that waste material and we found the ring and of some ice creams too from sister.

At that time I realised how Laxmi will go out if throw you wiped waste material in night.

In ancient time when this myth or ritual came in existence people had only candle light in most of the homes that is not enough for identifying what is there in this wiped material. So they said wipe your home and collect all the material at a place and you can throw that out in morning.

Myth: Don’t throw away/waste salt else you will need to collect it by your Eyelids: Logical Reason

This is very famous myth in Malwa and Nimad anchal that “you should not waste salt neither you should throw it away else you will need to collect each wasted particle of salt by your eyelids when you will face god”.

I heard this when I was not more than 14-15 year old and I heard this from guy of my age only. I was not able to believe on this as I always believed on science or logics (thanks to my grandfather) so I asked about this to my grandfather and his reply was something that showed logical reason of this myth. He explained me this with few question answers I would like to post those question and answers here. I can still remember each and every word of that chat

My grandfather: “do you know from where wheat comes”?

Me: From farms.

My Grandfather: What about rice, vegetables and other cereals.

Me: Same answer from farms.

My Grandfather: “do you know from where salt comes”?

Me:“From Sea” (I promptly replied him; luckily I was aware about salt making process because of some story or comics book).

My Grandfather: That’s the reason why they created this myth.

Me: I dint get it; please explain what you mean with this.

My Grandfather: “If you need to buy 1KG salt today you can go to shop and you will get 1KG of salt in 4-5 Rs because today goods transportation is very easy, you can have tons of Salt from coastal region to any part of the country in maximum 2-3 days but in earlier time it was not possible because they used to ship it by bull carts with a limited weight capacity.

Some time it takes several weeks for transportation from coastal region to central or northern region of India. In this transportation transporters bull cart runner had to face lot of problem they had to cross multiple states and follow all the guidelines created by those states for salt transportation. Other than this many more reason was there that made salt very expensive and a material that everyone should use with closed hand.

As salt was very fundamental ingredient of every food material so in ancient time every government/king had to arrange it (some time on government expenses) for providing necessary requirement to their people for smooth command on them.”

My Grandfather Continued: “To save misuse or wastage of salt someone created this myth so everyone will follow it delicately. There could be different theory for origination of this myth like “a king talked with minister for stopping wastage of salt and they suggested that pujari’s should create this myth to aam janta” or “A family leader of big joint family that has lot of children found lot of wasting of salt from child’s and he created this myth so children can avoid wasting it due to fear of god and punishment”. Whatever theory we take logical reason for creating this myth was saving wastage of salt.”

After explaining above thing my grandfather told me “Many myth that we follow in India has logical or scientific reason and before doing a blind faith on any of the myth always think a reason behind it.”

He explained me about touch and don’t touch theory that I will explain in my future post.
